1. Whole Foods Dozen Roses

2. Potted plant

If you like the idea of flowers but want something that will last longer, consider giving a potted plant to your valentine. Some really pretty potted plants include Ficus Bonsais, Spider plants and Ivy plants. You can find most of these at Home Depot or a local garden store.

You may be thinking how in the world am I going to get a photo book a week before Valentine’s Day but I have a solution! If you know your valentine would love a new photo book or framed photo for their desk, drugstores like CVS and Walgreens can make photo books in as little as one day plus they are offering up to 60% off right now.

4.  Leather Keychain

Valentines Day isn’t about getting them something big, instead sometimes the perfect gift is something they will use everyday.  A great idea is a custom leather keychain.  Personalize it and this is a great gift for a guy or girl.  Many even ship for free.

You really can’t go wrong in the south if you put a monogram on it!  I love this wood circle monogram on Etsy and many are around $18 shipped.

This one is for the coffee lovers out there! Make a custom coffee mug with both of you on it, or pick a picture from a recent trip you took together.  These are around $12 through Walgreens right now.
