Bacon Cheeseburger Pie Recipe

Years ago I made a dish that had something to do with bacon and cheeseburger flavors in the slow cooker, and it was a family favorite. I hadn’t made it in a while, but then I was also craving one of those breakfast casseroles you make with crescent roll dough. So I did a little tweaking and combined the recipe!

Here is my crescent roll-based bacon cheeseburger pie, full of eggs, bacon, beef, and lots of cheese! This could be eaten for breakfast or for dinner. Add some fruit on the side!

Bacon Cheeseburger Pie

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray. Unfold the crescent roll dough, pinch the seams together and lay it in the bottom of the pan.

Cook the bacon and drain the grease.

Cook the ground beef and drain. Stir in garlic, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Put the eggs and cream cheese in a blender and combine until smooth.

Place the ground beef on top of the dough in the pan. Sprinkle with half the bacon and half the cheese.

Pour the egg mixture over top.

Sprinkle with cheese and remaining bacon.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the casserole is set and cheese is beginning to brown.
